The Coral Reef Information Network of the Philippines (PhilReefs) has been envisioned to be a one-stop resource and information center on Philippine coral reefs. PhilReefs has published three books (Atlas of Philippine Coral Reefs, Philippine Coral Reefs Through Time, and Reefs Through Time: Biennial Report on the Status of Philippine Coral Reefs) which contain, among others, the biophysical information on the various coral reef areas surveyed by the UPSMI Community Ecology Laboratory and by its collaborators from around the country. This new initiative enhances the role of PhilReefs in providing coral reef information to researchers, policy makers, and the general public.
